Ragan Trail (4W316)

Distance: 2.35 miles
Approx Running time: 1 hour
Difficulty: More Difficult
Season: Closed October 15th through June 15th

The Ragan Trail starts off the FS-3521 road and runs west to join the 4W315 Nealy Creek Trail. Although it is fairly close to the 4W315 trial in geographic location it is a vastly different trail. The Reagan trail twists and winds through old clear cuts, small stands of forest and large meadows. There is little if any off-camber sections or hill climbs to this trail but the tight turns between the stumps on the eastern side will have the longer wheelbase rigs working a little bit harder. The trail should however be suitable for larger 4x4s.The Reagan trail joins the Nealy Creek trail approximately .6 miles east of the Table Mountain Road and makes a good loop run in conjunction with the Nealy Creek trail.

Because the Ragan Trail is within the Table Mountain Management Area, it is closed to motorized use (except snowmobiles) from october 15th through June 15th every year.
