Virtue Flats ORV Area

Located just east of Baker City Oregon the Virtue Flat OHV Area consists of open terrain over sagebrush covered rolling hills with some beautiful views of the Wallowa and Elkhorn Mountains.   

A visit to this area will find rocky ravines, mine tailings, and nearly 6 square miles of terrain to explore.

Getting There:

Take exit 302 off of Interstate 84 in Baker City and follow Hwy. 86 eastbound towards the Oregon Trail Interpretive Center. Adjacent to the Interpretive Center turn Right on Ruckles Creek Rd. and proceed up the gravel road for approximately 2.5 miles to a gravel parking area on the left, this is the main staging area.
